Hurricane Helene: Standing together for our Blue Ridge community
How you can help with recovery efforts with Hurricane Helene
As an independent hotel nestled within the Blue Ridge Mountains, our thoughts are with the many families and communities across North Carolina who have been impacted by Hurricane Helene. While we are grateful to share that our hotel was spared from damage, we remain deeply concerned for those in our area who are facing the tough road to recovery.
In times like these, we are especially thankful for the tireless work of emergency personnel, first responders, and volunteers who are making a difference on the ground. Their efforts highlight the strength and resilience of our community.
Many of you have reached out, asking how you can lend a hand. If you're looking for ways to support those affected, we encourage donations to these local organizations actively providing relief:
North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund (Helene)
Appalachian State U. Disaster Relief Fund
The Salvation Army (ER Disaster Services)
Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief
Boone Area Chamber of Commerce
Additionally, The United Way of North Carolina just launched The UW Helps NC Fund which sends aid for immediate and long term recovery efforts in local communities effected by Hurricane Helene.
The Ridgeway Inn is proud to be part of such a caring and passionate community, and together, we can support those who need it most during this difficult time.
